I was wondering if my father was playing. He played a lot for the Northshore Police Pipe Band but used to go out to Delta a lot.

Did they mention how many air miles it took? A vehicle like that likely run $80k to $120k?

Effectively, as a senior, you could knock the $50 down to $30 and pick up $5.25 in Airmiles for just over a 50% markdown.
This is a pretty good deal with airmiles. Safeway and sobeys has green works on sale for $2.99 each - $1 coupon in the walmart magazine = $1.99 each out of pocket. Buy 3 and get 25 airmiles and that takes the cost down to under $3.50 for 3 cleaners. (Don't get the dish soap at safeway or sobeys though. It is cheap at walmart... $2 each - $1 coupon = $1 per bottle.)
I went to Sobeys the other day to buy Cheese. It is on buy 5 get 40 Airmiles.
When I got to the store, the sign said "Limit of 4".
I just laughed and thought it was a mistake, but when I got to the till they charged me full price for the fifth one.
It took like 5 minutes for them to figure out how insane this was and then overrode the price.

I thought this was a good deal. I was able to find Kellogg's cereal with pins for $5 gas card. They were $4.99 and had B6G100. I should get $15 back in gas cards.
If you didn't get in for the ONYX Whitecaps deal.. here's another package that's still decent value and includes a lot... 975 AM / person...
