Last week was decent for a change. Spent $155 and received 412 airmiles.
Some good bonus offers on stuff I actually use.

meh.. I bought 6 corn on the cob last week and they all were disgusting... tasted like glue... I'm tired of getting ripped off and I'm spending my money at superstore instead this week.

I should add they were out of organic spinach, kale, basil. All their organic eggs expired in a week, coffee I like was sold out too. The nann bread I like sold out as well. I had a real hard time finding value to spend $150.

I've pretty much had it with Safeway..

Yes, it's rare I actually go to Safeway for all the reasons you have noted. I was surprised that I could actually do a shop for that much. I'll take it!

That is the exact reason I have gone back to price matching at walmart. I go through all the prices for Alberta, BC and Sask every week. We have had crappy oranges, seen slimy baby carrots in store, purchased a half rotten watermelon, seen MANY things in the produce area that were spoiled. One day it was so bad I talked to the cashier and said it is just disgusting in the organic section. Organic shouldn't mean half way to composted. They can try and say they are trying to save money... but that BS drives people away in droves. REALLY, shame on them!
    This last week I got
    1 watermelon $3.99
    4 cantaloupes $3.52
    2 cauliflowers $1.39 Each
    2.2lbs of peaches $2.19
    3llbs of bartlett pears $2.50
Safeway has NO rewards system that makes up for the amount I am saving.

    Thanks for sharing!

I already got free screening for Ben-Hur on August 17th but Kubo and the Two Strings also have screening on August 17th.

How can I got to 2 different screenings on same night? I wonder which one is better both are in 3D I think.

    Lorken,

Click the ONYX link in the upper right corner of the Airmiles page. Then you can get all the specials half way down on the left. (Credit to Ron for reminding me of this).

Thanks. For some reason that doesn't work for me, it just takes me to the canned list of Onyx benefits. (And I *am* Onyx, honest!) But from there I've found a way of finding these deals, I think. It's a bit convoluted, but it'll do! (Boy, they always make you work for your benefits!)
