The Safeway flyer was not included in my flyer package yesterday so I have no idea what deals there are next week

The Thrifty's Buy a $200 Smile Card Get 200 AMs offer is on again this Friday, Saturday & Sunday. I'm surprised it's so soon after the last one.

You can use whatever you have on the previous card to buying the new one.

Had about $105 left last time so only $95 needed towards the new one.

Currently have about $190 on the recent one so only need to spend around another $10.

So 3 cards with the rollover have cost me $200 + $95 + $10 = $305 and Get 600 AMs.

I just read the bottom of the Masterminds pass, and I noticed two things: 1. The theatre is overbooked (great) and 2. Are they serious about the no phones??

Well I am not impressed. The Thu nite showing of Mastermind in Calgary has been changed to Wed nite and at a different theatre. I wasted my airmile :-( LOL as I am already busy.

I just received my email today with the pass attached, it sounds like the same email you received saying the date (and theatre) have been changed to tonight. Am now scrambling to see if I can change some plans...but at least it did get to me. Finally.

This is the 3rd offer I have done. Each time they say it's coming by Canada Post and it arrives by email.

Good to know. I did not get any original email with a reward pass attached, but I did get the updated email and pass after I contacted customer service yesterday. Will be interesting to see if they really did send the original pass via snail mail.

Gift Cards from Sobeys/Safeway can be used at all the banners - Thrifty Foods, Safeway, Sobeys, Lawtons, etc. I wonder is this the same with the 'Smile' cards?

If it is I'd use it to load up on all the B$50G60 Gift Card offerings at Safeway that start around No. 11 every year when in Vancouver for annual convention. Last year Thrify's was doing B$50G35 or some such nonsense.

Just got home from the movie and enjoyed it. I was surprised the theatre wasn't full, but I wonder how many airmiles collectors didn't catch the change of date and show up tomorrow instead? I would have, if I hadn't read it here first.

Nothing to be missed--a month after their big announcement of "LOWER PRICES", it seems they've cranked a bunch of them back to where they were before, at least those featured in the fliers. I guess they think the shopping public is a bunch of suckers who won't notice. Alas, except for the people who visit here, I think they're right!!

I just called Thrifty Foods Customer Service & Smile cards Can NOT be used at other banner stores such as Safeway etc. Can just use at Thrifty's Stores.
