I am going to try to load up on airmiles so I can redeem this... and yes they are $20 coupons that are good until whenever... i usually get a couple hundred bucks at a time.

So with all this talk of donating things from Safeway to the food bank I have decided to put a list together of each provinces donation Tax Credit.

These are the 2008 rates for each province and includes Canada’s 29% tax Credit
Also these rates only apply after to any amount donated over $200

MB – 46.4%

NWT – 43.05%

So if you donate $100 to anyone who is able to grant a donation receipt then you will get the percentage amount off your 2009 taxes.

Just bought 32 bags of Herbon Cough Drops and 4 Bags of Purex Toilet Paper for $109.16.

Airmiles Recieved:

480 - Herbon Cough Drops
80 - Purex Toilet Paper
5 - Base Miles
10 - Amex Airmiles
675 - Total Airmiles Recieved

I will redeem for the gas special and will recieve 89.78 Back in shell coupons.

I also took the products straight to the Food Bank and recieved a tax reciept for total amount. I will therefore save $54.58 off my taxes.

Therefore
I spent 109.16
I will recieve 144.36
