The back of the coupon does indicate that gift cards from retailers that regularly offer Airmiles are eligible. That would seem to indicate if you bought BW GCS , for instance, and used those for hotels it would work.

Somebody mentioned a possible double dip on the 50AM promo at AirMileShops.ca

Just wondering if a triple/quadruple dip is possible with the Megamiles event?

1. AMShops are only eligible on GCs with merchants that regularly offer Airmiles

2. Can you buy $150 or more Shell GCs through AMShops? (Collect 50 + 1 of the 5 merchant offers for Megamiles)

3. Do you have to use those GCs for fuel or can you use them to buy GCs? (If so 7X AMs???)

4. Buy GCs you can use towards the Megamiles event (Sobey's???)

Great offer... buying $200 worth of gift cards at Shell in 2 transactions would work great with this promotion. You would get 7x Air Miles = 140 plus the 400 bonus.

I believe the Shell offer ends the 1st week of June. There are a limited number of transactions per day.. not sure if it's 2 or 5...

Where do you live? If you live on Vancouver Island you have(or had) different options. Also, what kind of products do you regularly consume as it could have a bearing?

To get my five I'm using:

2 different Thrifty's
1 Shell
1 Rexall

For the 5th it's a toss up between $45 at Staples or $150 Gift Cards through Airmilesshops.ca (you have to make sure you buy the gift cards only from merchants that regularly offer AirMiles or they won't count).
