Looks like a great deal. Save-on is promoting that brand as well in their flyer this week. Looks like maybe $1 cheaper than Safeway's price but no $10 gc back.

Flyer says limit 1 transaction per customer and you need to swipe your air miles card. May I assume you can't keep going back and buying $15 of items and getting $10 gc back.

My wife and I share 1 air miles card. Maybe it's time to get another one.

I had a hectic morning... I went to one store early at 8am and the shelf was cleared. I looked around couldn't find a display
I went to another Safeway and the shelf was full I got all 16 cans. On my way out I saw a pallet of cases tucked in some obscure corner.
I bought another 24.

So moral of the storey There might be cases of this stuff that you'll have to look for.

Does Safeway still offer rain checks. That's how I dealt with this in the past. Just make sure they list the multiples you want and the Airmiles on it. Then you'll have to register it through CSR if you purchase after the special date.

I think it is up to each store to issue rain check. I find that Safeway stores have better rain check policy than Sobeys because most Sobeys stores are franchised while Safeway stores are Corp. owned. The only improvement is that the CSR Can issued the AM on your receipt right away now, comparing to the good old pre Safeway/Sobeys merge days that they would record the AM manually on their log book and you might get the AM a few weeks later.
