Safeway's Sweet AirMiles Deals

I got an envelope today too. Sadly for the secong time in a row NO Safeway coupons I spend alot of money there so not sure why I am not getting them. However this year I have spent less money as I am finding less deals. Perhaps that's why. Or maybe its just random.

I got a couple of things at safeway this week-not airmiles related though.
they have their mini wheats little bites (with fpc on them) on for bogo. I had 2xfpc from kelloggs promo that didn't expire till jul.15...so got 4 boxes of cereal total and they all had fpcs on them! whoohoo!
also, goldfish colours are bogo as well for $3.67-2x50c coupon=$1.33 a bag. They usually go on sale for $2 so even with the 50c coupon it is still cheaper at safeway this week.

I did this today but also used the coupon buy 4 campbells get a free 8 pack of hamburger buns (villaggio crustini buns are on for 2/$7) and the max value of the coupon is $3.50.
So for $2.67 I got 2 bags of Goldfish and 1 pack of Hamburger buns. (I did this 3 times). My kids love Goldfish and we need buns for camping!

Not sure where I got this coupon from but it is different than the RCSS one (which is only good there). And on the back it says good on Campbell's soup, Goldfish, and Pace salsa.

I phoned them when I didn't receive and they told me random. Considering all the promo they get out of me I told them they should be getting Ed MacMahon delivering mine in person.

I didn't get any last mailing. Haven't got my new one yet.

There are times here in Southern Alberta when they give out 'random' coupns for B100G100 when you make a purchase. I have been in line and every single customer in front of me gets these 'random' coupons and I never ever get one. I feel the same way, that I spend a lot of money there but I do not get the bonuses that other people do. I definately don't think/believe it's random. I just don't get their logic in not giving bonuses to loyal customers.

This is just my guess I don't spend much money at Safeway and they are trying to get me to spend more money there by sending me these coupons.

I have asked but they are 'randomly' chosen by the till and the cashiers can't give them out. The coupons go through the till to get validated and will only work with your club card.
I get the idea that they are trying to get new customers but honestly it makes me not want to shop there. Treating new customers better than old ones is a bad practice.

There is a Friday pepsi and coke sale. They are on for 5 for $5 but they allow you to purchase them in singles for $1 on these specials. SOoOOooo we can use our pepsico books to get the soda for .50 cents a bottle... they are good on crush and mug and shrepps and pepsi and other items. The coupon stipulates one coupon per customer so you need to go thru the till several times or you need to add in some of the dr pepper coupons and you can do that deal like this to get all ten at once.

8 Dr pepper or crush or schwepps + 2 coupons for $2 off wub4 = $4 off 8
2 Pepsi or any other flavor out of the booklet + 1 coupon for $1 off wub2 = $1 off 2

Total before tax and deposits.... $5 for 10 sodas.
