Is the limit of 500 AM per day on any one offer or is it 500 AM on any one offer for the entire promo? Thanks for this wonderful thread I heart it very much

I tried the 2nd time, it didn't work, but cashier just got a manager to come, he scanned something pressed a few buttons and put it through for me.

They didn't know that you had used once already. They must have thought the system is not working or something.

I did a very small shop this week (its not grocery week and the house is already well stocked)
Here's what I got:
10 x veggies
2 x safeway diapers

My total OOP was $20.40
Total savings was 71%
Airmiles earned 150

I bought the diapers thinking I will try them out and donate them if I don't like them BUT I really like them! If all goes well for the rest of the week (parents out there know what I mean) then I am going to pick up some more for my youngest and some to donate!
Also tried the veggies last night and they were pretty good too!

It's a maximum 10 multiples on any Offer/day to a maximum 500 AMs.

So if something is:

B5G30 the most you can get that day is 10 multiples or B50G300

or

B5G100 the most you can get that day is 5 multiples or B25G500

You can repeat each day to a maximum 7 x 300 = 2100 (first example) or 7 x 500 = 3500 (second example).

Having a second Club card should allow you to double that.

Also, unless you use a second Club card Safeway's computers will add up your multiples if you try and split it into different shops. For example:

On the second offer above of B5G100 if you did 2 shops in the day and bought 20 and 20 you'd get 400 for the first shop but only 100 for the second.

Don't forget the per store limit too. So you can increase your daily limit if you go to multiple stores each day.

I am questioning how r couponers using 2 coupons on BOGO - I gather u are not presenting ur Card til after the order is rung thru but are the cashiers not savvy to what u r doing????

You can use more than 1 BOGO coupons. If you use 2 BOGO coupons, then you have to buy 4 items. You get 2 for free and pay the other 2 items.

Had to pop into Fairway for something.

They have 2L Coke/Pepsi on for $0.98.

For those of you who collect iCoke points that's a good one.

Approx. $62 worth gets 2 Cineplex/Odeon tickets = approx. $20

i realize that but if look over the last weeks postings here there r two about using 2 cpns on BOGO one transaction by withholding the card til the end after purchases and cpns are swiped I guess

Just a note that I picked up off the AM FB page...if you go through the "fans" page, you can get 25X instead of 20X bonus on Black Friday shopping, on top of store multipliers, so it's a cheap way to crank up your balance...so as now, you've got about 4 3/4 hours...

Hi. I did 1 for Herbal Essence?? (I think that was the shampoo). Anyway they had it B1G1. Then I used a b1G1 coupon. So I had 2 items and I got them both for free. Just paid tax. Safeway's coupon policy states you can use a club card sale and manufacture coupon in the same transaction. I give them my card right away and the coupons with the items. I have never had a problem and sometimes that is all I buy. So they are aware that I am getting them for free. Hope this helps.
If you are wondering if you can use a $ off coupon on both the free item and the 1 you are paying for it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't for me. Its the same concept but some cashiers won't let it through.
