Just realized this is also a B3G15 offer this week at 3.99 per. Are our P&G coupons still good?

I let them know immediately I was there for the AMs. Wasn't long before they realized I'm a more sophisticated investor so the three of us just sat there laughing our heads off for an hour bouncing financial planning ideas off each other. Had such a good time I even went into the manager's office and gave them a "job well done" compliment which they were very happy about. The manager knows me by name anyway.

At first the planner was only going to give me 100 AMs as he hadn't heard about the 300 AM offer so I took the both of them to the link on the financial website I monitor at. No problem. Just gave me three 100 AM cards.

My sense is you could do this multiple times through different branches if you're that committed. LOL!
Uh huh! Look who is the cheeky one now! LOL

It is kind of funny they tried to give both of us 100 air miles.

Oh I wanted to tell you... the person I saw kind of shy'd away from the mutral funds when I asked. It was very quickly explained that they are risky... you could gain 18% one year and loose 15% or more the next. I was impressed by the honesty. If BMO found something more middle ground between the GIC's and the MF's with a return slightly higher then the inflation rate I would have been more impressed.

It is a sorry state of affairs in this country when investing $1000 in groceries for the upcoming year is more profitable and secure then putting it in the bank. Oh well... at least we don't get taxed on the inflation savings.

I don't buy mutual funds. I buy individual stocks directly from companies, in small dollar amounts, commission free, not through a broker with all dividends reinvested for free as well.

You can buy shares of BMO directly from them once a month. It's entirely optional and if you do send them a cheque it can be as small as $0.01. That's right, one penny and they'll calculate your account to seven decimal spaces. It's the best kept secret in investing and you don't hear about it because sales people don't get commissions and companies are not allowed to advertise these plans.

    Cheeks,

Currently yielding around 5% but it's also tax advantaged so it's equivalent to about 7%. Does that beat inflation? Oh, and you have the possiblity of Capital Gains which are also tax advantaged.

However, this is all OT so if you're interested in this stuff a more appropriate forum is:

    http://dripinvesting.org

It's a free, hobbyist only site so it's kinda clunky. No junk nor spam. No one there will try and make money off you. If you register click "end" near the top right to get past the old data base.

There's a B2G$2 Windex coupon in today's newspaper Smart Source insert.

    Windex is $2.50 and B3G25 & B6G60.

With the coupon it becomes $1.50/0.45 if you use 3 coupons.

Bought today 10 kraft salad dressings at Safeway they are BOGO right now and priced @ $3.99 plus used 2 coupons worth $10 (buy 5 kraft products and save $5) so paid just under $10 for all..
Also they have Christie crackers on sale for 4 for $6 , which makes them $1.50 each, I also used the same coupon (buy 5 kraft products and save $5) and paid $.50 per each box

P.S. Love this site, only two weeks ago i wouldn't step into Safeway thinking it was too expensive for me,, but thanks to you guys look at me now.. YAAA!!
