Okay, totally off the airmiles topic here, but just wanted to share my expereience. I was so pumped to go to Safeway for the 3 days sale on Saturday, especially to get the extra lean ground beef for $2.99/lb, but something came up & plans got changed so I didn't make it there. However, I did go to Safeway early this morning after I dropped my son off at school & went to the meat dept & found lots of extra lean grnd beef that was still marked at this price as it was packaged on Sunday. I forgot about buying meat like this way when a say is over, but if you get there early enough the old price is still on there. Another thing I remembered doing years ago was going to Safeway on Christmas Eve around 4 pm & the fresh meats would be going on sale at half price.

must be....not impressed with the 7.99 jumbo kelloggs, usually @6.99/100AM. I have 1 fpc, and 4x 2.00 jumbo special K (hope they are included) to cut down the cost.
Time for some more superfries with $1.00 tear pad.
