I got 25 bonus miles from airmiles shop credited Sept 12. I have no ideas what they are from. I don't remember any bonus deal. Anyone else get them or have any ideas what they might have been for?

It was probably some small bonus thing from a purchase you made 6 months ago. They like to delay paying those out as long as possible

So I see Walmart has Minute Maid frozen OJ from concentrate on sale for $1 (good price) in their "anniversary event" this week. The neat thing is that Safeway also has it on sale, for a nickel more each, plus bonus AM are offered. This is a great example of how Safeway can beat the price of their competitors. Also, at Walmart, if they're out of stock, you're out of luck. At Safeway, this item is eligible for a raincheque.

I never got them either. I think they just screwed us out of them. Well no more Gas from Shell for me!

I think we'll get them but it'll be like the car wash ones where they don't come until about 60 to 90 days after the final date which was September 2?????.

Another trick Safeway allows but I don't know if Wally World does is prepay.

A personal example is Yogurt where Safeway has a B5 or B6 offer with AirMiles. I'll buy 3 and prepay for the others to get the Airmiles then go back a couple weeks later and pick up the remainder.

It is up to each store to decide if they would allow prepay or not. My store used to allow it. But not any more.

I thought I read somewhere that american express has another promotion. Spend another dollar amount on your card and get 150 airmiles.
Does that ring a bell for someone.
