This year, Metro had in store discount coupon booklets for th CNE. Found mine near the soft drinks aisle. Sometimes they are located at customer service.
Discount coupons for the CNE are usually advetised early in August at grocery store customer service desks. You can call them or pop in when you are doing your regular shopping.
