Went to Walmart a few weeks back. Bought a box of Pampers Baby Dry which was advetised with a huge sign in the aisle for $17+ but it scanned for almost $27. I didn't realize till I was on my way out so I went back to the Customer Service. I asked her about their SCOP in regards to the item I bought but she said it doesn't apply to "sale" items. She paged the baby dept and confirmed the price. She brought my price down to $17. I didn't complain much because I also used my $5 off coupon making me only pay the item for $12 only. But as soon as I went home, I decided to write Walmart and ask about this matter. I cited to them ippets of SCOP and told them I'd liked to be recompensed if I am correct. I just realized I now I sounded a bit demanding but I've already sent it. Just today I received a phone call from the manager of my local Walmart in regards to this issue. She said I was correct and she needs to discuss the SCOP again with her employees. She apologized and gave me $25 dollars GC to be picked up on my next visit. I was like "wow that's a lot!" I told her I was just confirming their SCOP but their reponse was great! I guess it doesn't hurt to speak out .
