French coupons not allowed?

Sorry for the threads but...
Today I went to Freshco ( hate freshco. but DH wanted pomegrante seeds which nobody else seems to carry)
Anyways - Woolite was on sale and I wanted to use the coupons from smartsouce? redplum? one of them

I got the french version and the ^^%&^ manager wouldnt take it !

I wish I was fluent in french - considering it`s one of CANADAS languages.

Have you had problems with them?

Sidenote: ilu I love the arils, too. Used to get em at WM, but haven't seen em in months. Thank you!!!! lol And MY DH says, "Wanna trade?" cause I need a DH who shares my love of Pom arils. Hahahaha.

lol yeah we`ve looked everywhere and thats the only place

Really?? they wouldn't take your coupon just cause its french I know that WM will as I have done it before

Depends on the WM and cashiers, they will only accept a coupon if they can read the terms, if no cashier speaks French, they cant read if it is one per customer etc. My local store told me to check with CS before I check out and they will tell me which cashier to go to
