online
Thanks to Amberlab I found out about this chat! I am in desperate need of this as my will power and motivation sucks :)
I am a ww member and am down a total of 10.8 lbs so far, with about 30-40 left to go!
I will be hanging out here now that I know looking for willpower, anybody have extra to share??
Cracking UP laughing.....Hanes must have heard us talking in here....go to Zellers for BOGO on Hanes and don't forget the $3 printable coupon. ;)
Glad you came over! Nothing like cookie chat to bring us together. LOL
Great loss so far! :top: Are you online or do you go to meetings?
Willpower, I know I need some lately. But there is an ad for yoga pants in the Mark's flyer and I feel I should cut it out and stick it to the fridge. Every time I look at it "I think I want my ass to look that good." Not sure how I would explain to my son why there's a pic of another woman's butt taped to the fridge.
Giant Tiger have Hanes for $5 minus the $3 coupon too ;)
i go to meetings here in guelph, only way I keep motivated...
I'm out of motivation lately too. We had a potluck at work yesterday, I overate of course, don't have much self-control at those things.
I overate yesterday too, I felt starving all day
yeah, I used 20 of my flex points in one day just by eating a cookie here and there. You really don't realize until you look after you ate lol!
I need to join you guys doing WW. I am probably 100 pounds over weight. Im only 5'2. I would love to start with losing 40 pounds and then go from there. How much is it to join? I did see once on the site that if you paid I think 15.ish a week the registration was free?
Do you have to buy a calculator? for the points.
I am in serious need to lose weight for health reasons. It will just haunt me in the future if I keep dragging around this weight. SIGH.........
Next week when I have some more money I will join. Any suggestions to me? Does anyone work out while watching what they eat?
Kelly, for me Weight Watchers mostly makes me think more about what I'm going to eat, I plan better, think about it before I eat it. I eat mostly healthy things, but I eat too much of them, this helps me to control my portions, think about whether I'm really still hungry before I go for seconds. Another bad habit I had, I'd eat my healthy lunch early in the day, then get hungry again by lunch, and go to the food court and get pizza or a soup and sandwich, essentially having two lunches. Now I think about the points in that and don't do it - mostly. :)
I'm aiming to lose at about 50 pounds at least, but WW encourages smaller goals, the first is 5% of what you need to lose, it's not so scary when you think of losing five pounds. I've lost about six since I started on September 21 - not a lot, but I didn't put all this flab on at once either. And already it's made a difference in my pants.
I do an 'At Work' program. I signed up for six months, and it includes 'e-tools' that lets you figure out points online. They do sell a calculator, but I haven't bought it, although I did download a free one for my phone that I can use on the go.
I wouldnt mind doing the online program but i dont have a scale....I do have a scale but I dont think it works. I am signing off for now. I would really like to talk about this more with you soon!
I use both meetings and online access, so that is about $60 a month. You also could do just meetings or just online, and they both have their own fees. Maybe someone else will chime in for fees for those? When I signed up the registration was free. They have free reg. promos all the time it seems.
You don't have to buy the calculator If you have an online membership, the calculator is online. I bought the calculator because I find it handy to calculate the points of nutritional info when I'm in the store or I'm too lazy to boot my pc. (Calculator costs less than $10.)
I have not worked out at all since I've joined. I chase my two little boys around all day and that is sufficient workout for me right now. Exercise is something I will add in, but I want to hit my 10% goal first (I've already hit my 5% goal).
