Kelly, as much as I understand the 'its only' feeling, WW are big on saying if you do want a few chips etc, eat them so you don't crazy crave them and can also ruin your goals.
What I do with those items is, as soon as I get home, I ziplock them into portions and write the points on the bag, so if I want chips for example, I do have them, but I look at the bag and ask myself, do I have xyz points in my allowance today?
I also made some substitutes to the type of snacks I buy, for a chip craving, Quaker Crispy Mini's are 2pts for a reasonable snack serving, Kettle Baked Chips are really good if you want 'real chips'
I do the same for cookies, I bought a box of Cadbury fingers at NF and they are all packaged up in 3 finger portions (2pts)
so if I want that snack, I know its exactly 2 pts (or however many, some are 1 or 3). If I have been using a lot of points that day, I look at the bag, think uh that is 2 more points I can have for dinner and put it back, writing the points really big on the baggie makes it very noticable
