great job on the weight loss both of you! I am off to my meeting tonight and will post either way.......:)
I forgot to post my results, loss of .2. I know the potato chips did me in this week. I don't even love potato chips, it was just....there. Enough of that!
Just got home and super excited to say I am down 3lbs, for a total of 13.2!
What makes me even happier is that I broke into the next weight bracket, and am in the 160's! I am now only a few lbs away from 10%, and my first MAJOR goal of the 150's :)
Good for you!
If I took all the bones out of my body and put them on a scale, they'd weigh more than that. :) The last time I was in that region, I was 16, I'd had my jaws wired shut for over a month due to jaw surgery. I weighed in at 152 and was too thin. But that's my body, I'm a tall, broad shouldered lady!
In other news, I think I'm fairly close to giving up on WW. Yes I know, I can do it. But I don't have the willpower for it these days. I'm trying to be good, but not tracking at all and it shows. Since starting in September I've gone up and down, down a total of under five pounds. I know I could do better, but I just don't have it in me right now. It's sure not worth the money to me now to see how little I've lost.
Hey Zonny! I hear ya on the motivation. Why dont you just try one more week and track everything. Treat WW like you would treat a wicked coupon that would give you the best deal! See if that helps you. If that doesnt work then I would agree to start fresh when your mind is in it 100%. I never ever had good concentration so I wasnt able to finish anything. Now I have perfect concentration for me, so thats how I am doing it. I also did a pre diet and started with small steps to prepare mmyself for my new lifestyle. Even if you dont pay them for the accountability try a few small things on your own. Good luck!
Well, I just had my weigh-in. Down 3.2! Thanks for the encouragement Kellyschool, I'll try to climb back on.
I'm up this past week, 3 lbs!! I know I slacked off due to my weight loss so far and thought 'oh I can treat myself to that' and I went to a wedding and pigged out!! I'm back on track and hoping for another loss at my next weigh in.
Congrats Zonny, hope it gives you the motivation to track this week and see if that works for you
Tania, I had a bad week when eating at events too, but sometimes I think the gain shocks the system so you can have a good week the next week if you track well.
Poutze, congrats on the next weight bracket!
I read the updates you all post and all about your successes!! Congrats!
I am on the maintenance part of my weight loss journey. Over about 18 months, I lost 150 lbs. More than half of my body weight.
I see some people getting discouraged so I just wanted to post something that helped me during those weeks where the scale wasn't moving or where I was frustrated that I had *only* lost 2 lbs.
