i bought a yamaha for my daughter, it was about the cheapest one out there, and it's great.
it has weighted keys so it's realistic.
it was almost 1/3 the price of the one her piano school wanted us to finance. granted theirs was a dif brand, but they were pushing it really hard for no good reason. In 2020 I had 100 FREE Grocery pickups! Subscribe to PC Optimum Insiders & get 25,000 PC Optimum pts

I'm considering a Casio Celviano AP420… does this mean anything to anyone. Not really sure what to look for… aside from weighted keys - Thanks!!

from the looks of it that looks like a good one: it has 88 keys which is what you need (full keyboard rather than half)
weighted keys
and pedals.
the only other thing is if you had a chance to go and try the piano as each one has its own feel and sometimes you may not like how the keys are weighted and there may be one that is a better fit. If you have any other questions feel free to ask I am a musician and teach music as well (piano, flute and vocal)TWO 20% KONG PRODUCT AVAILABLE FOR TRADE<dl style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-style: initial; border-color: initial; font-size: 14px; font: inherit; vertical-align: baseline; width: 881px; clear: both; "></dl>
