If you do an extended warrenty (with anything) ask about all the details. We learned (too late) that with our computer, if we used the extended warrenty ONCE it was then done....didn't matter how many years were left. And we had to use it just after the store warrenty was over, so now we don't have any warrenty at all on a computer that's just over a year old. And we have had nothing but problems with it and can't afford to get it fixed. Now we are stuck with a computer that works when it wants to, shuts down when it wants to and only lets you use the programs it wants you to....depending on the mood it's in, lol.

sounds like my lol it could just be a virus scan it with a anti virus programe and try to get rid of it that way and if that doesn't work you could just reformat you will lose everything and have to start over. Also if that doesn't work then its most likely the hard driver and that shouldn't be more then $60.00 for a new one. Or maybe someone in your family is good with computers and can help you out

my 2 cents is i buy warrenty - I have had to return things on the 11 hour and happy i spent the little extra.

My fella is really into the newest gadgets, tvs, games. computers.. he researches for the best quality, .. we don't get things and pay it off and we never get the extended warranty.. we've been doing this over 35 years and it hasn't failed us yet.
