I walk at work, I walk the dog,
I walk in rain, or snow or fog
I walk to go pee, but sometimes I run!!
and if I don't make it , it's not all fun
I have eaten and walked, but got indigestion
I have talked while I walk in a deep conversation
I hum tunes in my head while my feet keeps the beat
I walk crescents, avenues, boulevards and streets
I forget while I walk and I have to walk back
and I must always be careful not to step on a crack
( baby boomer reference " break your mother's back" )
So Loocie, I'm flattered that you'd toast one with me
I'd stop walking for a drink, but if my boss asks...it's tea!
