When a coupon says Buy 4 get 1 free does that mean
1)pay for 4 and get a 5th one for free
or 2)pay for 3 and get the 4th free
I have had different cashiers read it different ways.

Pay for 4 get 5th free...
Confirming, CJETHANI's post. Buy 4 get the 5th item free
How could you possibly read that any differently? It clearly says buy 4. You can't buy a free item.
Sometimes I really wonder about people like that cashier!
i agree in all post here...u buy 4 items then get the one same product for free :)
It's buy 4 get 1 free! The coupon doesn't state buy 4 and get 1 of those 4 free, lol. If cashiers are going by that strange logic then how would a b1g1 coupon work? Wouldn't that just make it a FPC?!
I know, lol.
