Future Shop lowered their price to match Walmart plus they had a free Monster Hunters 3 Promo On. We already own a Wii but do not have extra controllers or Mario Kart. I figured this would be a good way to set up a system for kids in basement plus get extra games and controllers.

The Bundle includes Wii Console, Wii remote, nunchuckm, motion plus, Mario Kart game and wheel.
The Monster Hunter 3 is valued at $39.99 and includes the free basic controller that you use on game cube games.

Monster hunter tri only cost .98 cents at the source. The price that FS post is misleading. The only game that I would say that is worth it is Mario Kart.

Mango Fruit, I don't see Monster Hunter Tri for $0.98 at the source but it is $54.99 at amazon for the one I have with the controller. And the cheapest used at amazon.ca is $20 for the game, no controller. So while I personally wouldn't pay $40 for it, at least it's a highly rated game on gamespot and not some crappy thing and I have an extra controller option.

It's YMMV. Some stores still have 1 stock left so you might be lucky if you find it in store. This sale started maybe about 1 month ago.

Also, WalMart sold it for 1$ during January when they were clearing out games. So this game pretty much went from 40$ -> 1$ in one day.

Is the controller in the $1 versions, if so people would buy just for that.

The controller was included when they sold it at WM.

However, you won't be able to find it now since a lot of hoarders bought all the copies that they can get their hands on from WalMart and traded it into FS or BB. A lot of them made about 500$ at the cost of 50$.

You should drive around WM to see if they have anymore of their third part controls. They had a sale about a month ago on third party controls. It was 5$ for a wii mote and nunchuck. Also, they had rechargeable battery packs for 5$.
