What Do you all Do with your samples ?

My sister was volunteering at the donation centre in Edmonton when everyone was evacuated from Fort McMurray. She had mentioned that the sample size/travel size shampoos, etc were a great size for those in the shelters.

Also... Ronald McDonald Houses have sample size/travel size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, etc, etc on their wishlist of needed items. Here's a list...

I keep some use for gift baskets and such. Others I keep for myself and share with friends/family or donate.

I use them right away, asap, or mix them in the regular rotation. (Like when I get 3 Always tampons in a pouch. I throw out the pouch asap and put them in my regular tampon box) My family are hoarders, I can't risk letting them see tiny cute things that they want to "collect" or "useful when we travel".

My mom used to collect sample claiming she would use them while traveling. Then she would bring the almost used up regular size bottles, and bring back all the hotel bottles home. When I ask when she needs the tiny bottles, she said, "they are great size for when you travel." No, she never use them. This irrationality has gone on for 38 years of my existence.
