I save them for when I travel.
Even the single load laundry soap is great for that (if you rent a house).
I agree the small sizes are so fun and cute and it's better than having to buy travel sizes when you're going on a trip.

DH travels a lot for work and I find the sample sizes are ideal for going though airport security.

All my extra freebies go to our church who then donates them to the local homeless shelter/womens shelter etc. I even got a boat load of Secret deoderant last year (almost 20 to donate) when WM had then on cheap and i had the $5 off coupon when you bought 3. It cost me nothing!

it's always nice to help someone. I gave all my formula samples to a single mother who was having a hard time financially. She looked so thankful like I was a hero or something. I was happy to help and it cost me nothing!

I have a medium sized box on a shelf in my closet, the ones I dont use right away go in there until I can use them or find someone who can.

Use them.
Also I don't sign up for samples I won't use. I used to, just because I loved receiving free stuff in the mail (who doesn't?), but it adds up over time. I still have a box I keep under the bathroom sink of lotions and stuff that we will probably never use. I have been slowly giving them away to relatives, but honestly it hasn't really made a dent in the overall amount, which should give you an idea of just how many samples there are!

I...LOVE....SAMPLES! And miniature things, which go hand in hand. HOWEVER I am NOT complaining when the samples come out full size! Only when I didn't happen to get the sample, and hear about it coming out full size..... OLAY
You do end up with stuff like head and shoulders when no one has dandruff, but you learn to do more with the product, like shave with conditioner. Of course that puts all the free shave gel to waste/wait. Ahh. the life of the couponer, so many product choices in your own home.
I am the ultimate product whore. And YES my legs are currently un-shaved

LOL small things used to be an obsession of mine. Now that I have tons though, they just go in a box. They get taken along when I travel or stay overnight places, sent with family when they travel, or are used in gifts.
Full size freebies that can't be minified (like the febreze set and refreshes) I just put with the rest of my stockpile and use or save for gifts.
I have a sample size box (two, actually) full of small stuff so people can grab what they want when they need to travel easily.

I love them too! I use them for travel mostly!
Or I send them with my husband when he goes to the gym to workout - better than taking a full sized bottle of shampoo or a huge bar of soap!
And some I just use at home or give away
