I don't know....maybe it's because I'm not finding the coupons or sales that I really need? I just feel so blah about couponing right now. It's been a while since I've had an amazing shop and I don't even recognize the new face at the shelter I seemed to be donating to a couple times a week. I need to get back in the swing of things!

Anyone else ever feel like they are getting couponed out?

shopped out for me...i am finding it boring and somewhat greedy...do i really need all this stuff??? When the sun is shining I just can't do it....
So it is a no shopping week for me...just the things I need--i will not look for anything else and spend time in the garden and maybe painting....

i think everyone goes thru phases, when you first start its all about getting as much savings as you can as quickly as you can (or at least it is that way for some) then a few months go by and you have lots, and you go thru a lull, then you get back into it (in some cases)

i went thru this, actually in the last month or so am just getting back into it

Yeah, I'm finding there's not a whole lot I need so I'm trying to use what I have...I save most of my shopping for essentials like milk, eggs, etc, for SDM so that I can get the points, and it saves me from running around trying to get things for the cheapest price, because well...there aren't many fantastic deals out there lately anyhow.

Definitely lately. It seems like less stores are complying with their posted (online) coupon policy. There are SDMs who will not accept printed coupons (one I went to that didn't accept their own Shoppers Optimum coupons), cashiers that can't accept coupons since they're more than the value of the product (and won't/can't adjust down), and WMs that didn't PM because they didn't believe that the deal really was that good in the printed flyer (so I got a raincheck from the original store).

Admittedly, the last has nothing to do with coupons. All really have to do with the cashier, except for the stores that reject all printouts. I think couponing is just bringing out the argumentative side of me and I'm not sure I like it. I'd rather spend time doing other things than explaining to a cashier that a PM guarantee is part of their customer promise and that her snooty look was not part of the deal.

I agree that we all have bad days, but to treat each customer like they're trying to make your life worse is just bad service!

I feel it. The walmart sale on irish spring is just plain free with coupon if I remember correctly, and I'm just like "ehh, can't be assed to cut my inserts for those". We have 100 bars of soap already and I don't really feel like it's a necessity because of that.

Fantastic deals on things I need to stock up on would be great. Even if they're not free, I'd love to get my hands on some cheap baking supplies for the holidays. My mom was all excited by spending 4-something a container on coffee at walmart with coupons, but I don't like or need coffee so that wasn't exciting at all to me

Hopefully holiday coupons will come out soon (snack foods, soup and treats, and gift packs!) that will allow for some awesome deals on stuff I don't have a ton of yet.
