Was at Walmart Square One location this afternoon.

Was at the upper level registers facing Whole Foods.

Was going to price match Gillette Shaving Gels (Pharma Plus) and use my $5off WUB3 P&G coupon.

I was told no, by the cashier, then was told no, by someone that came from the customer service desk.

Its either price match or coupon according to them, not both, they were told last week. I should have asked for a manager.

I've never had problems at WM, this is the first !!!

I would have went to a manager for that! It's either they let you, or you take your business to the other store.

I had the same thing happen to me. It makes no sense though - Walmart receives the money back from the manufacturer for the coupon! If you went to Pharma Plus, you would have received the item for the sale price + you would have been able to use the coupon. If Walmart wants to stay competitive by offering Price Matching, then they should allow customers to use coupons while price matching! I emailed Head Office about this policy 2 weeks ago and am still waiting for a response!

My cashier wouldn't give me the 78 cent overage on my items. She said she thinks they never did that. Won't be going back to her if I have an overage

Yes, I had a problem there too with the nexxus coupons. They said I could only use one per order, and then the two cashiers discussed the problem in a different language right in front of me. Ignorance...

Sorry to hear Coupon dude. I was at the same walmart today from 1 - 3. I cashed out at lower level and had found some aspirin that was 4.97 well I had 7 coups. When I went to cash the woman said u r only alour to use 1 of same coupon so I was not aloud. I laughed at her and said since when. She then called someome from the floor to come. They came and called a manager. The manager said yes, let it go through. Then she tried calling a swcond manager and decided to let it go through since the 2nd one did not answere phone. Guess she felt bad cause I was there with my triplets and was in wheelchair cause just had surgery. Not sure how 1 location can just change rules. I have better luck at Zellers. WM will loose ALL customer if they continue.
Am not so fond of cash back anyway. Would rather spend the overage on items.
    Better luck next time.

I went tonight before closing; while the cashier went up to the CSM to ask if I were allowed to PM and use coupons, he came back and allowed me to PM and use a coupon.

IMO, the Walmart at Square One is the worst to use coupons at in Mississauga.

My first couponing experience was at Sq. 1 (with the ziploc printables) and the experience somewhat deterred me from going to that location anymore. However, now that I've been doing couponing for a few months, my subsequent visits have been smooth sailing. That said, I know one day, I'm going to run into a problem, so unless I'm already at Sq. 1, I'd rather go to the other Mississauga locations.

I was just about to say the same thing.. what the heck is going on?
I don't shop there, but with all the issues arising recently it appears that someone there is advising their employees incorrectly.
905-270-9300 is their number, ask for the manager and let him/her know the issues you've been running into. Let them know the date and time you were there at too.

This location was fine with coupon then starting around the beginning of Sept things go down hill. I haven't shop there since then, it's not like it's the only store in town.

I wish they would just post an official coupon policy in wm stores so we know whats going on. Last week I was told that a person had returned hundreds of dollars of stuff at this location that they originally had pm'ed and used coupons that why they stopped allowing pm and coupons but this week when I went the cashier told me it was a mistake/misunderstanding that they still are allowing pm and coupons. They shouldn't of allowed the person to return so much, why should we/the rest of us have to be punished. I don't really care for the overage I only pm and use coupons to save some time and some money.

^ Is that why they are so anti coupons? The nerve of some people. Getting free product and overage for their other purchase is not enough? Greedy people returned to get money back too? If that's true I understand why the store got upset over this but I totally agreed with the previous poster, why not post a notice about that instead of rejecting every couponner especially honest couponer like me who just trying to save a buck or two. Talks about bad management there.
