When asking for coupons from manufacture's.. Do you ask for coupons.. or do you just compliment them on their product?
I do both. I pick one of there products that I really like and name it in the e-mail, and then ask for coupons so I can try some of there other products.
Both. I compliment a lot about how great they are & with so many in our house we use a lot of their product, how the quality of their product is superior, and then gently ask for a coupon.
I do it once a year usually around spring break time so that I'm not asking for too much
:)
a) just compliment them on their product, or say that you are interested in trying it (give a good reason if you have one)
b) then ask for coupons (nothing ventured, nothing gained)
Most companies will be happy to send you coupons, some will also ask for your email so they can send you their promotions. Once in while, you may get a company that doesn't send out coupons, so it's best to show your disappointment in a polite way; maybe they will change their policy.
I always compliment the companies on their products. Always Always!!!!!! I make sure i mention how many are in the family and what each likes about the product (even if i have to make something up) and for how long weve been using a product.
If the product is new, i always say that im interested in trying their new product since the whole family likes their line of other products. And then i ask for either samples or a coupon. Sometimes you get both, sometimes only coupons, sometimes nothing. Its all part of the game.
