I bought the Alpha Omega carseat that was on sale at Canadian tire in the last flyer for $89. I noticed I was charged 12% instead of the 5% HST I was supposed to be charged (this is in BC not sure what tax rules for car seats are in other provinces) CT head office coded the car seat incorrectly. Check your receipt and go back to CT for your $6 refund. It may take awhile for them to find someone who knows how to properly override the tax. LOL

Annegrace here is the tax info from the ontario website. looks like you should also only be charged the 5% tax.
