So I stopped by Jasper Gates LD today to pick up a few items. I get up to the till and I am told that I cannot use more than $3 worth of printable coupons in my ENTIRE ORDER?? Not $3 per coupon or per item, $3 for the entire order. Is this common at Jasper Gates? I had heard the $3 rule before, but never have I heard that it applies to the entire order. I was frustrated as I had printables for cereal, detergent, and diapers. But no, can't use all of them even though it's different items? I scooped my coupons up and said I'd just go to a different location (which I did and had no problems), but I was still irritated. The lack of consistency from cashier to cashier is so frustrating. I was dealing with "Joan", don't know if anyone has had problems with her before.

I am not sure but I think many people have had problems with Joan. Call the manager and complain. I think that she may be the most complained about cashier on this site. If I remember correctly the manager from the store even wrote a letter on this site welcoming couponers. Someone correct me if I have the wrong cashier or manager.

yes she pulled the same thing with me and misschelsey ... I am so turned off by her coupon hating attitude that I will never shop there again... There are so many good LD out there that care about the couponers that I make the choice how I want to be treated. She sucks

51 st today wouldn't accept my sunlight coupons today... They said they had a meeting with the boss and was told that if it has limit one per purchase that means you can only use one coupon.
I went to south common, talked to Gita and the coupons are just fine. Was able to use all 8 stacks there.
I wish all the LD's would get together and do it one way and one way only...

I agree! I'll only do my shopping at LD -WEM. Not only are they polite and welcoming to couponers, but they never rush me, and have even helped me get my stacks organized. It really is too bad that the other LD stores can't get their acts together, get informed, and be consistent. As for specific ' problem cashiers', they really need to be brought to the store manager's attention or even better, Head Office's Customer Service Manager. Afterall, does LD want our business or not?

I agree south common has really became a great LD to shop at..when I first started stacking I refused to go there. Just did a return on a keurig this morning and went without a hitch with Gita even got cash back instead of the gift card i heard someone say they could only get on a return..bonus!

I go to the Northtown and Oliver Square. Northtown wants print coupons on whole pages of paper, but that's the only issue I've had. Oliver Square doesn't want printouts on whole pages, but likes to ask prying questions while processing my order. But they both take stacks and usually have tearpads available.

I'm surprised to hear that about the "one per purchase" thing at 51 ave. That's where I went when I had problems with Jasper Gates, I stacked without a problem - only thing is they didn't carry the slip-on Huggies diapers I wanted to get. I know WEM is awesome but I hate going to the mall.

Sandra is another awesome service specialist at LD-WEM. She knows what to look for and what she's doing, plus coupons herself!
