I am really starting to not like my SDM. I must be missing something cause I tried on the last 20x and I gave my card first then purchases then coupons and poop nothing. I ended up trying to argue and got the flyer in my face and told to read the back. nice. I will try again tonight cause I keep reading that it seems to be working for everybody so I must have missed something. Thanks for the help though.

I haven't had an issue with bonus days. I don't take part in the secret ones just the ones in the flyers. Been to mainly Stanley and Clarence. Both cashiers told me I wouldn't get the points but I did. Was around $26 OOP for each transaction

I live in Ontario and maybe its just different here but if my coupons bring my total below the $50 mark it will not give me the 20x bonus. No point in arguing as it clearly states in the disclaimer on the SDM flyers last page.
"Offer valid on the purchase total of eligible products after discounts and redemptions and before taxes." "Points are issued according to the net pre-tax purchase total of eligible products after redemptions and discounts and before taxes using vaild Optimum card".
I dont know how others get lucky but it hasnt worked for alot of people lately especially when a manager thows this proof at you.
I dont know how to argue it when its in black and white.

When you look at your receipt are there any items with an "X" in the column between the name of the items and the price of the items? There are some products which are ALWAYS excluded from 20X or spend $75 get 18,500 events; things such as giftcards, stamps, and some medications (usually those containing codeine for example). One time a few months ago I didn't get my BP on a spend $75 and get 18,500 pts and was sure I should have. When I looked at my receipt there was an X in this middle column on the line containing my iron supplements. In the past this product had still been included in the items "allowed" for 20X promotion, but apparently is not anymore. If you bought vitamins or something like this I would encourage you to look and see if that is what brought your total down below $50 and meant you didn't get the BP. I know it doesn't help now but it will mean in the future you can know not to include the price of these items in your calculations for BP events.
