10% discount at RCSS + mail RAOK!!

I'm not sure if this is being offered at any other locations, but my local RCSS has a 10% student discount on Tuesdays. Since I'm no longer a student I cannot take advantage, but tonight the DBF who is back in college for a year came deal-hunting with me so we were able to use his student card at the till!

2x Amooza twists @ 2.99 - 1.00 = 1.99 each (Great school snacks!)
1x Lipton's green tea (72 bags) @ 5.99 - 50% = 2.99**
1x Wrigley gum @ 1.34 - 50% = 0.67 (The one deal in the whole store that the DBF was interested in... LOL)
1x Schneider's Grill'ems @ 2.99 - 30% = 2.09 (No coupon to make it sweeter but still good! Expires Oct 31)
1x Green beans @ 2.19 - 50% = 1.09 (most of the veggies didn't look fresh but the beans looked good still!)
2x Neocitran warming syrup @ 4.99 - 3.00 = 1.99 each

10% student discount = +1.28 (They calculate the discount for 10% of 12.82... not sure what happened to the other 1.98?)
Tax @ 1.38

We estimated that full price this stuff would've cost us over $40!!!!!!

Also I had a small but decent mail day. I got my samples from P&G Brandsampler and LaCoupe (including $5 IAMS and $2 La Coupe coupons)... plus got coupons in the mail today that a very kind and generous SCer sent to me, coupons that I had been looking for.... very sweet RAOK on her part!!


**There is more boxes of tea for 50% on the clearance racks, if anybody is near the Oakville RCSS. I only bought one box since I wasn't sure if I would like the flavour and plus if I buy any more my tea stockpile will go out of control... I can only drink one per day and nobody else drinks it regularly! They also had freezies 50% off... DBF wanted them but he already has a freezie stockpile.

Tuesdays only... and yes, my DBF gets it since he's still in school for one more year. Not sure if that's at other locations too but we saw a big sign outside our store advertising it and decided to return on a Tuesday to see what we could find!
