So I went to walmart and was using a couponzone coupon which I have used before an the cashier called over a supervisor who said they no longer take competitors coupons unless it has a price for the product on the coupon! So I asked to see their "new" policy and asked to keep it so here it is!

Thank you for posting this. I think it's great that Walmart has made their guidelines so clear so cashiers will hopefully be better aware of how to process coupons. I think it's great that they're emphasizing that you need to be polite even if you're refusing a coupon and that if they think a coupon is fraudulent that it shouldn't be a reflection on the consumer... all too often cashiers are quick to judge. Hopefully this will lead to more positive experiences at the cash.

Now only if Walmart's cashier's would remember these steps - our lives would be easier when "trying" to use coupons there.

The Walmart policy stated that long ago. This is just a store copy Dumbing up the policy for employee's to understand. They have always only accepted Competitors coupons when they state a exact price. People just never really paid attention to that and read that others do it so they assume it is ok to use coupon zone coupons at walmart. The only coupon zone coupons that walmart will accept for $$ off is ones that state Manufacture coupon on them. Other wise it has always been a exact price.
