Was I wrong to use these two coupons?

Well, thanks to Anne Dougherty, my hubby and I were off to grab some of the fabulous deals she posted in her 'matching coupons to flyers' thread, but one thing stopped me in my tracks.

We were in Walmart to pick up the combo Gillette Body Wash (2.00 coupon) and the combination 2.50 off wub the Body Wash and the Gillette Antipersperant.

The cashier didn't accept both coupons in the same transaction, so I said fine, I don't want them, then. But we did get the 2 Ziploc bags for free.

Question is: was she right?

Oh! I should add that in Metro today, they had one particular brand of Ultra Clorox on for 2.99, and the others were 3.99.....so 2.99 minus the 1.00....1.99 for the Clorox!!

Since I do that sometimes, I can't say you're wrong. But P&G coupons say: Limit one coupon per products stated. Wich can mean: 1 coupon per ITEM (so this way, yes, you could use both), or 1 coupon per pair of products exemple: 3 gillette products.
Sometimes I get refused a check-out, sometimes cashier get my points.

Reading it the way you've written it out Lynn, that is two coupons for three products. In that situation if I had three products, it doesn't matter to me if they were rung in all at once or divided up into two transactions. Same deal in the end.

And the absolut rule is : ONE coupon= ONO product. Except for the lucky one who are stacking.
Remind me my sdm shopping on Friday: I bought (What I tought was....) 6 dove shampoo and use 3 B2S2 and 3 S1.5. And the cashier argue: I can't use those one (B2S2), I replied: yes, one per bottle, product. She replied me: Yes, sure, but you only have 3 bottles...
Ouh lalala j'étais tellement gênée, j'aurais rentrée dans le plancher. I would have disappear under the counter.... I sended my DBF grab 3 more bottles and excuse myself...

Clear as mud...lol...She did point out that it read: one coupon per product...but I was purchasing two...but...ah, well...what's done is done..I'll have to be more careful next time. But I sure saved a bundle today!!! Almost $20 in Pharmaplus alone!
