What do you need to make this work? A microphone and speakers or headphones or a headset. You also need one free gmail email account and second accounts come in handy when you are couponing anyways.

Go to gmail and set up your free email account https://mail.google.com

Once it is set up open it up and follow intructions in the pics in red. You can't receive calls from a regular line but you sure can make them.

If the call doesn't go thru the first time let it just sit in dialing process for for a min and remake the call. The other person doesn't hear it if it doesn't go thru. It might take one or 2 times but it corrects itself.

I use my headset and my daughter just uses her laptop. the speakers and mic on the laptop work too but a headset give you better call quality

i really don't know... i am way too cheap to have a ipod touch... and way too clutzy too! I sure hope so... it would be great to make calls from a cell for just the data charge... that could save you a fortune! good luck and please let us know if it works!
