Walmart Oct 28 - Nov 3 Flyer Removed

Hi guys,

I'm sorry I had to remove the Walmart Oct 28 - Nov 3 Flyer since it was posted too early and Walmart's Legal Team sent me a legal cease and desist letter asking me to remove it and not do this again.

Walmart have actually been very nice and have simply asked that their flyer is not posted too early. i.e. not posted before it is made publicly available. I ask that you please follow this request to avoid getting me or the website in trouble.

Wow, I guess they are really touchy on the rules It is probably so competitors don't know what their sale prices will be ahead of time. I loved seeing the flyers in advance. There is nothing worse than buying something only to have it come on sale much cheaper the next week I wonder how stiff this rule is? Some of us post Friday's flyer on Monday or Tuesday. I hope they don't crack down on that as well.

my guess is that some other this site competitor tip it to wm (just my GUESS ok?) since a lot are tuning in to this site because of the flyer early post....i might have second thought of posting sdm flyer early...what do you think boo?

Well no, if you physically have it in your hands because it was delivered to you then that is not the issue.

I don't think that's unreasonable of Walmart...

They don't show deals a month ahead of time, because then people would never buy the items that are going on sale at regular price. It would also give the competitors a chance to price match or even go lower.

I did enjoy the few super early flyers though lol

you might just get your wish. They announced in this area that they took a lease that target didnt want, and are also building a new walmart right beside a new target early next year. That would make 5 in this area alone, all about 10km away from each other.
Maybe other cities will follow suite.

I am thinking that the empty shelves is due to not scheduling enough staff to restock the shelves. Sometimes stores put a huge load on one person on shift - usually a super human job for just one, but bearable if the work is spread out among a few staff.
