Hi guys,
Re: Train #1
I am feeling a tad frustrated with this train. I don't know what to do, perhaps the Conductor or other Passengers could help me figure this out.
When I received the train this morning, I was very surprised to see how thick the envelope was, it is at least double the thickness for a regular envelope and I am very surprised the envie was sent for regular postage. Having had a web-based store for 3 years, I know the postage rules and regulations.
I am now trying to stuff all of these coupons back into a regular size envelope but no matter how I shuffle them I know when I take it to the post office that it will not pass the thickness test and it will be charged as a package (minimum $7). The only other option is to split into 2 envelopes.
What should I do?

I vote to split in 2, I wouldn't want to shell out 7$ for a train. Just my 2 cents.

P.S. The envelope as it is, is over 1cm in thickness.
The maximum thickness for a regular envelope is .5 cm (half a cm).

Hi all, I have mailed Train #1 to the next rider.
Took out $12 put in $25 (doing this from memory - but about right).
As their were too many coupons for a regular size envelope, I split them into 2 regular size envelopes, taped the envelopes together side by side, and put those into a Large manilla envelope. 225 grams was the weight.
Cost was $2.85 plus tax ($3.24 total).
Here is the Canada Post website if you want to make sure your envie is good.

Enjoy the ride.
