The contest consists of three (3) segments: Part 1) In-store instant prizes, Part 2) Sharing with friends, and Part 3) Online store.

To take part in the three contest segments, you must obtain a Jacob Christmas stocking (“Christmas stocking”), available at no charge, in one of the ways described below. Christmas stockings are virtual unless you request one at a participating store, in which case it will be printed for you, thereby making you eligible for Part 1 of the contest.

To obtain a stocking:

1. Go to a participating store and request one from a JACOB service associate
2. On the Web, go to www.SurprisesJacob.ca and follow the “Print my stocking” instructions
3. On the JACOB Facebook page (www.facebook.com/BoutiqueJACOB), follow the “Print my stocking” instructions
4. Click on an online contest ad and follow the “Print my stocking” instructions
5. Get an email, Facebook, or Twitter message from a friend in conjunction with Part 2 of the contest

Part 1 – Instant in-store prizes

Get a Christmas stocking online or in a participating store as described above. Print your own copy if you obtain your stocking online. Present the stocking to your service associate at checkout, after the items you are purchasing have been scanned. The service associate will scan the stocking barcode. Our computer system will randomly identify Christmas stockings that win instant prizes.

Part 2 – Sharing with friends

Get a Christmas stocking online as described above and share it with a friend via Facebook, Twitter, or email. You must first enter your first and last names, phone number with area code, and email address and click on “Follow.” Then select a way to share by clicking your preference. To share your Christmas stocking by email, provide the email addresses of up to five (5) friends and click on “Send my stocking by email.” You will receive one (1) chance to win the Part 2 grand prize for each friend who clicks on the link included in your message, and five (5) chances of winning each time you share on Facebook or Twitter. Each contest entrant can receive a maximum of 15 chances to win the Part 2 grand prize during the contest period.''

Part 3 – Online store

To participate in Part 3 of the contest, you must have participated in Part 2, sharing your Christmas stocking in at least one of the three ways described in Part 2 above. Once your Christmas stocking has been shared, a promotion code that can be used for a purchase at the online store jacob.ca will be displayed. If you make an online purchase during the contest period, you will be able to enter the promotion code in the section provided for this purpose, becoming eligible to win the Part 3 prize. There is a maximum of one promotional code per purchase.

ENTRY WITHOUT PURCHASE (Parts 1 and 3)

A participant may enter the contest via mail without making a purchase at a participating store (Part 1) or the online store jacob.ca (Part 3). To do so, you must obtain a Christmas stocking at no charge, either online in one of the ways described in Section 3 or at a participating store, and enclose it with a handwritten letter (the “letter”) approximately fifty (50) words long stating why you wish to take part in the contest. The letter must include the Surprises, C’est Chic! contest name, your first and last names, date of birth, full mailing address, daytime phone number, and email address. To be considered valid, the entry must be mailed in a postage-paid envelope to the address below, and postmarked no later than December 27, 2011.

Part 1 – Instant in-store prizes

1. Winners may receive
   
   • One of 15,000 instant $10 discounts that can be applied to the item(s) they are purchasing
   • One of 2,000 instant $25 discounts that can be applied to the item(s) they are purchasing
   • One of 5,000 JACOB nail polishes with an approximate value of $6 each
   • One of six (6) JACOB wardrobes worth a maximum of $10,000 each, with $5,000 in regular-price JACOB merchandise awarded annually for two (2) consecutive years (2012 and 2013). Each year, $2,500 worth of JACOB clothing will be awarded for the spring/summer season and $2,500 for the fall/winter season. Winners must select $2,500 in JACOB clothing in one shopping trip. Clothing selections are final and may not be returned for subsequent credit, exchange, or reimbursement. Winners will be contacted by a JACOB representative to plan their four (4) shopping trips. These trips must occur between March and May for the spring/summer season, and between September and November for the fall/winter season.
   
   

Part 2 – Sharing with friends

1. Prizes: One (1) JACOB wardrobe worth a maximum of $10 000, with $5,000 in regular priced JACOB clothing awarded annually for two (2) consecutive years (2012 and 2013). Each year, $2,500 worth of JACOB clothing will be awarded in the spring/summer season and $2,500 in the fall/winter season. Winners must select $2,500 in JACOB clothing in one shopping trip. Clothing selections are final and may not be returned for subsequent credit, exchange, or reimbursement.

Part 3 – Online store

1. Prize: One of six (6) $500 prizes, each to be used at a participating JACOB store in Canada.
