I thought I was the only one frustrated by them having none in stock on the very first day it is advertised. It's not like they could have sold out, I was there Friday at 7:00 a.m. when they opened.
I went again on Sat at 7:00 a.m. still none, they checked for stock in back, and by searching on the scanner thing. I was lucky enough to get a raincheck for 6 pkgs, and it says on it " valid for 2 weeks". ( I wanted to use the 3 x $2.00 off wyb 2 coupons with this sale )
So I went again Sunday at 7:00 a.m. again hoping, but none still.
I did speak with the manager, he kept trying to offer me the wrong ones
( I guess he didn't understand the words long, with wings, overnight , lol)
I am not sure how the rain check expiry is calculated, it states the date I was there ( 15th ), so would it be 14 days from that date? Oct 29th?
Guess I will have to mosey over there again.
Sorry you could not even get a rain check FrugalKris :frown:
One of the walmarts I shop at will sometimes be out of stock, but I have gotten a rain check before for items on sale, you should maybe ask for a manager. Also, price matching can solve issues if it is required right away, assuming you have a store that will pricematch that is close by.
taken straight from the flyer "while it's our intention to have every advertised item in stock, occasionally an item may not be available due to unforeseen difficulties. In such cases we'll issue you a rain check (at your request) so you may buy the item at the advertised price when it becomes available...Not available for limited quantity or clearance items which are available only while supplies last."
its on the last page very small and hard to find but always there if you ever need to back up your claim that walmart does indeed issue rainchecks.
