I live vicariously through baby J's birthday parties.... after all his birthday is just 4 days before mine.

I remember a few parties as a kid but since I was 10 or so no more parties. Hubby's and mine are only two days apart so we usually take the family out to dinner. My MIL used to have a family Sunday dinner once in January for all the birthdays, but now that she is gone I think we will just take everyone out to our favorite restraunt.

My kids have birthday parties, sometimes two. One for friends and family and a little one with all the daycare kids.

Same with my first born and myself. His birthday is five days after mine.

We are getting ready to celebrate Nicholas' First Birthday in November, I can't believe how fast the year has gone!
