An upcoming points experiment

So on November 5th this is my plan...

Transaction #1
Spend $150 on SDM Gift Cards (8000 points)

Transaction #2
Spend $150 on cosmetics paying with Gift Cards (30,000 points)
Use Plus member coupon (10,000 points)

So for my $150, I have earned 48,000 points.

Would this work?

I think it will work coz it's what I'm planning to do.

And if you're buying Lancome products, spend $75 in GC each time, then you can not only get 20X points also 2 GWP! :icon_santa:

No cosmetics for me...my SIL and Niece love the $30 mascara and they only put it on their Christmas lists as they don't buy it for themselves but they appreciate it when others do. Their extravagance is just points for me and I knock 2 more people off my Christmas list.

Someone posted here that it was better to buy the perfume sampler pack prior to buying any full bottle of perfume.

Would buying the sampler have any impact on this points experiment?

For transaction 1, you need to buy two different giftcards to get the 8k pts. So maybe $100 on SDM GC, and $50 others?

For transaction 2
Not sure if you can combine the two promotion. On the coupon, it does indicate that can't combine with other bonus points promotion.

Could you shed some lights on the details of Lancome GWP?

I'm just wondering that because the 10,000 BP offer says "Not to be used with any other Shopper`s Optimum Points Promotion or offers", that they would make you chose between 20X your points on cosmetics or the 10,000 BP coupon which needs to be scanned AND won't show up until Dec 7th on your Points total.........
