One person's trash, another's treasure...

My dogs think so anyways, lol. Driving home from work this evening, my headlights spotted something bright red by the side of the road. As I slowed down to get a better look, I saw what seemed to look like two pretty decent chairs. Of course I couldn't drag them home by myself so, when I walked through the door, I convinced dh and son to go and get them for me :biggrin:. No sooner had I just finished scrubbing them up, our dogs claimed them, lol. These will now replace their cushions on the cement floor in the garage while they supervise dh when he works.

I went out recycle bin walking tonight
saw a rack of cassette tapes, picked them up and carried it aways away, looked at them and theyre all bands I dont particularly like :(

That's most likely why they caught my eye. I love the retro look :-). However, dh was a little hesitant as the last time I sent him out for something with that look, it was a 300lb lobby sofa, lol.

Awesome score, "the ladies in red" love shopping curbside to. LOL. I know what you mean about the heavy items though I just got (bribed and cajoled) my DH and DS to lug a 300lb desk home,He's very handsome and vintage as well.:lolsign: Love how the dogs claimed them, mine would have done the same.
