Sorry that you feel this way, isthia.
Being cautious is a good practice.
Telus customer service can't give out this promo rate, and it is only available through their marketing field agents.Last edited by Andre112; Wed, Feb 15th, 2012 at 04:12 PM.

Hi Andre,
The Telus rep told me that they had problems with people posing as agents using official looking forms I'm not saying that this deal is fake, just that they warned me.sicosnipophobia

Oh I see. Well, we just need to be careful and find out who we are dealing with before giving out any information, right?

I wouldn't trust anyone who came to my door trying to sell something like this. Remember, if it seems too good to be true, it usually is.

As long as no banking information, personal id such as SIN#, drivers licence, etc is given there is nothing a scammer could use for personal benefit. Your name, address and phone # is not enough information to be of use for false credit, etc.
Plus if you notice on the form the customer signature says confirm on phone. Easy enough to see if the # is a valid Telus #(may have to phone in for them to do a quick internal office look up)Zoombucks are back: Please consider using my link to sign up again: https://zoombucks.com/?ref=IIHO0L

It's legit. I just saw the commercial on GlobalBC. I'm in Kamloops.
