ICS School

I doubt I have the right spot to post this, but it might fit?
I am thinking of registering for the online bookkeeping course through ICS. It is thousands cheaper than through distance education from my local college and will take just under half the time. My only concern is that the certificate at the end is recognized by employers and by the accounting field.
Does anyone have experience with ICS?

I once started an accounting course through ICS years ago and I would not recommend it.
The materials were very outdated and non-applicable at the time I was taking the course - it wasn't worth the money at all.
