Hi everyone I made this craft Nature collage with my grandchildren and wanted to share it.
Nature Craft (collage)
Constrution paper
white glue
paint brushes
cut out pictures of nature animals,fruit and vegtables.
assortment of anything natural like flower petals,leaves,bark,cones,cinnamon sticks or other spices.sand ,seashells anything that repersents nature.
Prepare a tray of the natural things you are going to use,Spread newspaper on table, Let the children paint on the white glue on there paper,give them the cut out pictures to paste first then the natural ones to put around or to over lap. I hung this clothes line from a dollar store to hang there artwork.

Best Dad Soda Can Hug

foam sport stickers


What you do
Stick letters onto can hug, spelling out "BEST DAD".
Stick sport stickers on wherever you like.
Or you can make it with Dad's name.

Father's Day Windchimes


You will need:
clean, empty 8 oz. margarine tubs made of thin plastic
construction paper
scissors
glue
hole puncher
ruler
clear nylon fishing line
1/2" diameter metal
washers
pencil

What you do
1. Place the tubs upside down on a table and decorate
them, using scraps of construction paper and glue. They
can make collages of different shapes or they can cut
letters out of construction paper and glue them to the
tubs to form messages.
2. Set the tubs aside to dry. After, the glue has dried
thoroughly, use the hole puncher to punch four holes
along rim of each tub. The holes should be about 1/2 "
from the edge of each tub and evenly spaced out.
3. Cut four 12" lengths of fishing line and eight metal
washers. The children tie one end of each piece of
fishing line to a metal washer.


4. Help the children thread one piece of fishing line
through each hole in their tubs. As they thread each
piece of line through a hole, they immediately tie a
second metal washer to the free end of that piece of
fishing line.
5. After the children have attached all the washers to
their wind chimes, place the tubs upside down (bottoms
up). With a sharpened pencil, poke two holes about 1"
apart in the center of the bottom of each tub. Thread a
12" length of fishing line through bottom holes and tie
the ends together to make a hanger for the wind chimes.
6. The wind chimes can be hung indoors or outside.
Each pare of metal washers should be positioned so that
the two touch each other. When air moves past them, they
will produce a pleasant clinking sound.

Dad & Me Coffee Mug



What you'll need:
White coffee mug
Enamel paints: black, red, blue or pink
Thin pointed paint brush
How to make it:
Be sure that coffee mug is clean and dry.
Use child’s thumb and red enamel paint to add the
“daddy” figure on the cup. You can make the figure
larger if it looks too small.
Use blue paint (or pink for a girl) and pointing finger
to add the child on the cup.
Use a thin paint brush to draw on legs and arms,
connect arms between characters so that they are
holding hands.
Use thin paintbrush to add hair.
Use thin paintbrush to write “Daddy” above the
characters and “& me” below the characters.
Bake mug in the oven as directed on the back of the
enamel paint bottle. You can also air dry, however air
drying requires many days as opposed to a few hours
in a low temp oven.
Tips:
Acrylic paints will wash off this mug. However, if the mug
will be used for decorative purposes only you may use
acrylic paints and coat with acrylic sealer. Wipe clean with
a damp cloth when needed.
Check your local dollar store for inexpensive mugs.
Personalize this mug even more by writing your dad’s first
name on the other side.

Fingerprint Flower Vase


This lovely little vase is perfect for spring, Mother’s Day, Grandparent’s Day or any occasion that involves the
beauty of flowers. This painted jar doubles as a keepsake
as it's made with your child’s fingerprints!
What you'll need:
Empty glass jar
Enamel paint (purple, pink, yellow)
How to make it:
First, be sure to read the instructions on the back of the
enamel paint bottle.
Be sure glass jar is clean, dry, and all labels have been completely removed.
Have children dip their fingertips into the paint and dot
onto the glass to form the petals of the flowers.
Repeat this process to dot on the flower centers--
alternate the colors (purple flower, yellow center,
pink flower, purple center, etc).
Let paint dry and cure according to directions on enamel
paint bottle.
This may require baking in the oven, or a longer alternative
is air drying for up to three weeks before using.
Tips:
Hold jar by the mouth to avoid bumping or grabbing any
wet paint.
Acrylic paints can be used; however they will wash off if
jar is washed.
To protect it better you can spray entire surface with
acrylic sealer, however this can diminish the shiny surface
of the glass.

Me-and-You Book


This interactive book that kids can make from scratch
is guaranteed to be an instant favorite with fathers.
MATERIALS
Cereal box
8 1/2- x 11-inch white paper
Hole punch
Ribbon or string
Cut a 9 1/2- x 6-inch rectangle from the cereal box
and place it picture-side up. Fold it in half.
Stack white paper, fold the sheets into quarters,
cut along the top, and set the paper inside the cardboard.
Punch three holes through the paper and cardboard and
thread ribbon to bind.
Now, brainstorm topics for the book. If it says on the left page "My Favorite Animals," then print on the facing page,
"Your Favorite Animals." Your child can draw or write in his answers, leaving the other side blank for his father to
complete later. Other topics might be favorite colors, special places or five things you love about the other person

Holloween Trinket Wreath from CraftBits
Materials:
Wooden, twiggy wreath from craft store
Flat Black spray paint
Large Paint Brush (optional)
Purple Paint (optional)
Halloween trinkets
Hot glue gun
Hot glue sticks
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Instructions:
Lay the wreath out on some newspaper/cardboard/old sheets on a flat surface (make sure your newspaper/cardboard/old sheet is considerably bigger than the wreath to protect from overspray)

Using the flat black spray paint, paint both sides of the wreath black. I sprayed it with 3 light coats, waiting 20 minutes between each coat. After it was mostly dry

I then hung it on a pole to dry more evenly.

After the 2nd coat dried, I used a purple paint and dry brushed the whole wreath to create just a hint of color. I didn't press too heavily, only brushed it on very lightly, so it hit only the exposed surfaces of the wreath. (I did this cause a lot of the items i was gluing onto my wreath are black, so i wanted them to stand out, and plus, my favorite halloween colors are black and purple
Then, after picking out which Halloween trinkets I wanted to use (I got the 50 count bag of Creepy Creatures from Michaels which has plastic spider rings, rubber bats, rubber spiders, glow in the dark skeletons, and finger puppets), I started to hot glue them on. For the G-I-D skeletons, I took the heads off of all of them except for one. So I have 5 little skulls and one full skeleton. I also took 4 of the finger puppets that came with the trinkets and glued them on the inner edge of the wreath so they stand up straight (i glued the finger openings down). To glue down the spider rings, I put hot glue on both sides of the band part of the ring and stuck that inbetween the branches of the wreath. That way, the spider lays flat, and stays put really well
