What do you think of our new plastic money

I like the look of the new 100 bills! Really cool. Will definitely cut down on the amount of counterfeit bills out there.

Our ATMs only give 20s. But it would be nice to not see the signs in stores anymore saying they don't take 50s.

Most of my local ATMs(RBC, CasPop, NB) give 50s and 20s. The only shops round here who don't take 50s are Dollarama* and Korvette.

* Nuns excepted.

Oy, and here I was only thinking about the times we've washed my husband's wallet and that it would be better with the new money - never thought about the dryer being a bigger problem with the polymer!

Since the Washing Fairy (me!) checks all pockets before washing, any money left in there is a tribute to the superior skills of the WF.

The new bills are great, I heard they are not able to fold which will be a problem since I love stuffing crumpled up money in my jeans pockets.
