Thread: $0.49 Speed Stick
-
Thu, Nov 17th, 2011, 11:22 AM #1
So Zellers has Speed Stick on sale for $1.49. Superstore has a Coupon Zone coupon for $1.00 off any one Speed Stick. With PM and coupon at Wal-Mart (because Wal-Mart takes competitors coupons) that makes the Speed Stick $0.49 perfect for stocking stuffers! The coupon does expire at closing on November 18 and the flyer isn`t in effect until Nov 18, so you`d have to take advantage of this deal on Friday!!

I have never price matched or used a "coupon zone" coupon anywhere other than Superstore but I have noticed on here that some places won't price match & take a coupon. Is that not the case with Walmart? Just want to make sure before I head in tomorrow!

Will they accept a Competitors Coupon though? I went in there tonight to use a Canadian Tire coupon & they said they don't accept Competitor Coupons. I read over the Walmart Canada Coupon Policy & it says they accept Competitor Coupons (and there are a few requirements) but the one I am wondering about is "for a specific item & for a specified price". That sounds to me like they are talking about Price Matching because coupons have for example $1 off but it sounds like they want it to say the actual price.
I have no idea....I would like some advice on it really because I want to fight it but I want to make sure that I have my facts straight before I call their manager. The coupon that I had expired today so now I am missing out on the deal!

I have used coupon zone coupons at Walmart. If it doesn't state LOBLAWS only on the back they will take it. The speed stick ones state one per household/ family though.

I went over this morning and got 20 70g speed sticks, price matched with zellers and used my coupon zone coupons! No problems at all. Retail (including tax) - $52.44, PM (including tax) - $ 34.27. I paid $14.27 (including tax).
I still have lots of coupons left if anyone is in the Bridgewater area!

I tried to use Superstore "Coupon Zone" coupons for speed stick and Vim at 2 different Wal-Marts and neither would let me use them. They said that they only accept competitor coupons when there is an exact price listed rather than say $1 off. So, they essentially price match the coupon, not necessarily honor a price match and then the coupon. Which Wal-Mart is everyone shopping at that they are accepting them, I'll go there!
Thanks!!
