Everything else goes in a couple of little underwear bags I got for free from La Vie en Rose sometime ago...I think if you're going to put bras in the wash it's worth it to put them in a little mesh lingerie bag, otherwise they can get bent, tangled, and hooked on everything else. Also, avoid drying bras at all cost-the elastic will get broken down over time and they can get bent, depending on what any underwiring/boning is made of.

i find the fort store severely lacking with selection.. and i've always had questionable service there (if i'm going to be dropping $100+ on a bra at a specialty store i expect to get good service!) last time i went in they told me i should get a babysitter! (i had my 3yr old with me she's not a terror, and i'm not going to drop $20+ for a babysitter just to go buy a bra! which often isn't even in stock-the last 3 bras i bought from them they had to order in and taken 6+ weeks!) i've taken to making the trip to duncan and have gotten excellent service, great selection (more then 4 bras in my size/style) and they arn't anti-children

I just toss my undies in the regular wash, but then I'm not buying $100 bras either.

My teenaged daughter calls my underwear "granny panties", but there isn't a large enough bribe in the world to make me try on a thong.

I put all my bras & undies in one - it makes it a lot easier to hand dry if they are all in one place! Cardigans/knit sweaters in another - so they don't get stretched and mangled, and delicates in another.

Oh I use one for socks too.. because I hate loosing them and fishing for them!
smart idea Janetta.about the socks...i will do this.i buy a new pair of nice socks, trouser ones, and after the first wash i dread it because i know they will never be together again after that....

never even considered that for socks...

i still wear underwire..sometimes the underwire gets mangled or comes out the sides..i have a favorite bra.it is a weird poly material but oh so comfy.i bought it at fields for 10 dollars with panties.the underwire has come out of it but i still wear it with tight shirts...

i hear you midnightly..i am a double d 42. nice bras dont exist in my town.it is usually old granny ones or i go to additon elle.la senza i have not been able to find a dd42. maybe victoria?

i was "blessed" with bigguns....my back hates it.i am not an overly big girl...just always been chesty...

i have an odd figure so it is so hard to find dresses that fit properly.it's either they fit my chest but are cut for a larger shoulder and the shoulder looks 80's ish and i have to get it tailored or i find a perfect fit and have to have my tailor take out the breast area..i so do not like my breasts...if i could get a reduction i would...hubby joked today looking through my drawer for a bra for me and he comes into the bathroom "what is this? a watermelon holder?"

I also wear a larger size bra. Finally found some that fit at Addition Elle. I wrecked so many by being lazy but now that I found one that fits properly I hand wash them.

I hand wash everything stretchable. Bras, panties, socks, stockings, stretchable shirts. Machine wash easily destroys the durability of the garters in them. I only trust my hands as I could control the amount of pressure I put in them. I only use mild soap so as not to destroy the fabric. Oh, and I do laundry once a week so I don't get run out of them.

It's a plus if I do hand wash as my hands get free scrubbing to rid them of old skin.
