Any good deals on indoor christmas lights?

It's our first year in our appartment and someone gave us a tree. I shopped around a bit and cant believe how expensive the lights are! Anyone know if any good deals or places to get them?

if you can check out your local thrift store.. i can't believe i paid $10 for two sets of white lights.. im talking white lights with white cording for my white tree. man what a rip off.

If you are buying multiple sets, do it as multiple transactions and use each free gift card against the next light purchase. That's what I did. I bought 6x $17.99 light sets across 6 transactions, using the previous transaction's $10 gift card against the next purchase total....and so on through the entire set of transactions No questions asked

My local Walmart was sold out of clear lights but had tons of multi colour. Went to zellers today and lights were 30% off... paid $6.99 for 100 mini lights (clear). Not too bad as I only needed 2 boxes. I find the LED mini lights are pricey!
