i freeze it often and had no issues. I got in on a Lacatancia sale at Food Basics last week...$3.99 even for the 3.5% which is what dd drinks. Got three bags because it's regularly priced at $5.69 or more. i'm laughing though at your $0.30 comment...pre-SC it'd be "meh"...not it's

Really? Is it just for your SDM?
I paid $4.19 on Sat. Any increase is not cool.

A couple of years ago, a four liter jug here was $2.99. It was a loss-leader for them from what I understand. With three teenagers in the house, I buy a lot of milk, and I find Shoppers has the best price. I don't like price increases, but I also don't want them losing money either...I really enjoy the points program and the staff at the store I go to are terrific. Unless I lived in the boonies, I wouldn't bother freezing milk to save 30 cents.

I was talking to someone who runs a bakery, and she said that 40 kg bags of flour have gone up $18 in the last 3 months...$10 a few months ago, and another $8 this week. Guess we can expect bread to go up soon too.
