HI Everyone, I have been reading this smartcanucks as a guest for a while and loving it. I have always wanted to be more of an online shopper as I am away from a big center to shop. But I want the deals that a big center offers. This site is my answer to my prayers!!!! So I am wondering if anyone knows of sites online that sell Christmas Decorations. I can watch them daily to see if they go on sale as it gets closer to Christmas and after the season is over. I really like buying off season. Then next Christmas I am surprised by the new decorations I got the year before!! Thank you!! Brenn

Honestly, most online-only stores are just massive warehouses. So when Christmas stock goes out of season, they just pack it back up and put it away, they don't do a clearout like an actual store does.

If I were you, I would just make one trip sometime between boxing day and the first week of January to your closest city or town with a walmart-like store, and scope out your deals there. Or try craigslist or kijiji, believe it or not some people buy decorations every year and then get rid of them because they're oh-so-interior-designy and want a new theme every single year. Never hurts to check!

Yeah, I have to agree about the online stores. I know zellers and Canadian Tire always put the stuff on sale (even now).

I'm a Hallmark orament collector so I tend to buy smaller ones (globes, balls, etc) to use as decoration and to compliment the major ones.

If you plan to go to a store or centre (walmart, zellers, whatever) to buy after Christmas, go on the 26th. If you wait too long, you'll find lots of ugly and broken ornaments.

eBay would also be a good place to check online. Probably lots of people needing money for the season.
